Our funding was used to purchase a digital mixing board, Pro Tools audio editing software, and various cables to run headphones to students. With this equipment we are able to turn our band room into a recording studio and create high quality multi-track recordings. This is really exciting because we've always had a small groups and with hybrid remote learning I only see half of our small band at a time. Now we can record and overdub and the students are very excited about it.
Fulfilling Our Social/Emotional Needs Through Literature
Kelly Ayers - Hubbard Elementary, Kuna
$380.96
For my project, several books were purchased on an array of topics all dealing with healthy social and emotional responses in children. These books are being categorized so that other teachers can easily locate a book on a pertinent topic for their classroom if a situation arises where it could become helpful. Topics range from loneliness, and fear to treating people how you would like to be treated and healthy friendships. The books are used to launch talking points for valuable discussion.
